Kathmandu launches Packing and Footwear Cells using Odegon's odour absorbing technology

Oct 04

The New Zealand based outdoor clothing and equipment company Kathmandu have integrated Odegon technology into their innovative Packing and Footwear Cell products. Available on their international website and in stores throughout Australia and New Zealand, Kathmandu's Anti-Odour Packing Cell allows the segregation of damp or dirty clothing in gym bags or luggage.

Likewise their Anti-Odour Footwear Cell ensures well used trainers or hiking boots do not spread the ‘used-shoe' smell throughout other luggage.

Greg Wilson, Kathmandu's Product Manager of Equipment - says. “At Kathmandu we're always looking for ways to innovate within our packing cell range of products. We wanted to solve damp, dirty gear infiltrating your entire gym bag or travel luggage with odour. We needed the expertise of a technology partner and we found it in Odegon. Through this partnership we were able to innovate in an area of our business we wanted to grow. We have developed an innovative product that really works. We hope customers love it!”
